Technical Bulletin

Sometimes you just don't need all the bells and whistles we offer in our professional grade alginates. Sometimes you just need a basic molding material that will do the job. Our ValueGel formula is just that- a great basic alginate at a low price.

  • 3:1 (water to powder) mixing ratio
  • Very smooth mix
  • Sets in ~5 minutes with 70°F water
  • Not quite as tough as our other offerings, but good enough for beginners or those on a budget.

Available in 3 and 20 pound bags. For larger orders, please contact us.

  • Double hand cast in a 1 gallon bucket would take about 1.5 pounds
  • Face casting takes about 6 ounces.
